How to apply
Applications for vehicle use with the support of Ocean Tech are accepted from each organisation or person on an annual basis. Letters of intent should be sent to Ocean Tech before a full application is delivered. The letter of intent must outline the intended use of the vehicle in the context of the wider project.
If a letter of intent meets the support criteria, Ocean Tech will ask for a full application to be completed. Ocean Tech must receive all applications by the November 1st each year. Successful applicants will be notified by the 15th of December.
All applications received by Ocean Tech go through a rigorous checking process. This process starts with our advisory committee. The committee grades each proposed project against the Ocean Tech charter.
Successful applications are then put in front of the Ocean Tech board. The advisory committee makes its recommendations, and then the board make a final decision.
